如何在旧金山或美国申请韩国签证？
持有中国护照和美国绿卡（或其它美国有效签证）的朋友如果想去韩国玩，可以在美国申请韩国签证。以旧金山为例，韩国旧金山领馆负责北加州、科罗拉多州、犹他州及怀俄明州的业务（Northern California, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming）。这些区域的居民到他们的旧金山领事馆办理，或者邮寄均可。

当然需要填写一份申请表格，下载。

Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00（韩国和美国的公共假期除外）
也可以邮寄给他们（注明Attn: Visa Division），签证办好后，可以自己去取或邮寄给你，当然需要自备贴足邮票的回邮信封。
签证类型和申请材料
旅游签证是C-3-9 Tourist Visa。申请材料不刁钻：
1、有效护照，有效期不低于6个月，签证空白页至少还剩余2页
Valid Passport (must have at least 6 months of validity left and have at least 2 blank visa pages) and a copy of passport biographic page
2、照片一张（要求见后）
1 Passport Photo glued on Section # 1 (personal details), left side of the visa application form
3、机票复印件
Copy of airline ticket shows Entry and Departure of Korea
4、银行证明，存款不低于三千块
Copy of Bank Statement : The ending-balance should be over $3,000
5、酒店信息
Copy of Hotel Information( or Address in detail and Contact Phone Number in Korea)
6、非美国公民需要有效的美国绿卡或其它有效签证的复印件
Non US citizens must also submit a copy of : valid US permanent resident card or (a) valid U.S. visa (b) I-94 record (www.cbp.gov/i94) (c) I-20 or DS-2019 that has been recently signed for travel (F-1/2 and J-1/2 visa)
照片规格
各国要求的照片不太一样，比较惹人烦，但是又有什么好办法呢？
Photo Requirements for your visa application
– Photos must be color neutral, size 35mm ×45 mm, with a length of full face 25mm×35 mm
– Photos must be taken against a plain, evenly lit and light background, without any mark or creases
– Photos must be taken within the last 6 months
– Applicant must be shown looking directly at the camera
– No sunglasses or hats, except for medical/disability reasons
费用和支付
交钱是少不了的，旅游签证单次费用是$40（90天以内）或$60（90天以上）；多次进入是$90。
需要现金或者汇票
– Fees must be paid by cash or money order (Payable to: Korean Consulate General) ONLY.
不接受个人支票、银行卡/信用卡
– We do NOT accept personal checks and debit/credit cards.
